Your Smile Is Worth It
It's never too late to start.
Whether you haven't seen a dentist in two years or ten — there's no judgment here. No lecture about what should have been done sooner. Just an honest look at where things are and a plan to move forward.
Your oral health affects more than your teeth. It affects how you eat, how you sleep, how you feel walking into a room. It affects the smile you show the people you love. You don't have to have it all figured out before you come in.
That's what we're here for.
Karla Domingo-Cuison, DDM, MS
Turning a Vision into Reality
In 2010, Dr. Karla Cuison opened KDENTAL Studio in Ortigas with one clear idea: patients deserve a dentist who tells them the truth. Not one who recommends procedures to fill a schedule. Not one who speaks in clinical shorthand. One who listens — really listens — and builds a plan around what the patient actually needs.
Fifteen years later, that hasn't changed.
The Foundation
Dr. Karla graduated from the UP Manila College of Dentistry in 2007, placing in the Top 8 of the National Dental Board Examinations. She trained in oral surgery at the Philippine General Hospital, then completed international clinical training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in the United States — before returning to open KDENTAL Studio in Pasig City in 2010. The goal wasn't the biggest clinic in Ortigas. It was a good one.
How We Practice
Every consultation starts the same way: Dr. Karla asks what brought you in, what you've been avoiding, what you're afraid of — before anything clinical begins. Findings are shared on a screen turned toward you, explained in plain language. Treatment is phased around what's actually realistic. If a procedure can wait, she says so.
Patients often say the same thing after their first visit: "I didn't expect her to actually listen."
That's the point.
Built for What's Possible Now
KDENTAL Studio offers dental implants, zirconia crowns, full-mouth rehabilitation, Invisalign, root canal treatment, bone grafting, intraoral and CBCT scanning, and 3D-printed restorations — backed by ongoing training in digital dentistry, periodontics, and endodontics. The technology expands what's possible. The trust is what brings patients back.
Fifteen Years In
Patients who came in anxious — some who hadn't seen a dentist in years — are the same ones who can now smile freely in photos again. Not because we told them to. Because they finally wanted to.
That was the vision. This is what it looks like.
