What to Expect on Your First Visit to K Dental Studio

But I also know that not knowing what to expect is itself a source of anxiety. So I want to walk you through exactly what happens when you come to K Dental Studio for the first time, so you can arrive calm, prepared, and confident.

Step 1: Arrival & Welcome (5–10 minutes)

Our clinic is on the 12th floor of Medical Plaza Ortigas. When you arrive, our team will welcome you, confirm your appointment, and ask you to fill out a brief health history form if you haven't done so online. We'll offer you a seat in our lounge while we prepare for you.

If you're running a few minutes late, don't panic — just let us know. We'd rather you arrive feeling relaxed than stressed from rushing.

Step 2: Your Consultation with Dr. Karla (20–30 minutes)

This is the heart of the first visit, and it's very different from a typical dental check-up. Dr. Karla begins by listening — asking what brought you in, what's been bothering you, and what you're hoping to achieve. There's no rushing to the chair, no skipping to the clinical findings.

She'll then do a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, bite, and (if relevant) take X-rays. This gives her the full picture of your current oral health.

Step 3: Your Treatment Plan Discussion

After the examination, Dr. Karla will explain her findings in plain language — no jargon, no rushing through details. If there are treatment options, she'll walk you through each one: what it involves, how long it takes, what the recovery looks like, and what you can expect in terms of results.

This is your opportunity to ask every question you have. There are no stupid questions here. We want you to leave understanding your situation completely and feeling fully in control of the decisions ahead.

Step 4: Next Steps

At the end of the visit, we'll discuss timing, answer any final questions about cost and payment options, and schedule your next appointment if you're ready to proceed. You are never pressured to commit to anything on the spot.

• A list of any medications you're currently taking

• Your questions — write them down so you don't forget in the moment
